Garden Vegetables Wrap

First of all Thank you so much all for the wishes on my blog's 1st anniversary. Hope you stay with me in this journey and we will have lots of recipes to share and know each other.

Regarding today's dish, July is the hottest month here in USA ,since last two weeks temperatures are in 95+ and last three days it cross 100F. which is 50C. That time  you don't even feel like standing infront of the gas and cook. Those days are perfect for  this wrap , have all the ingredients in fridge and just have to chop everything and mix it with dressing and done, quick lunch / dinner is done. you can add any premade protein in it,  That's the idea of this dish. So lets do chopping.

Ingredients for salad :

5 Whole wheat tortilla
1/4 cup chopped cabbage
1/4 cup chopped lettuce
1 carrot grated
1 cucumber chopped
1 half red onion chopped
1 tomato chopped
half green capsicum chopped
1/4 cup boiled chick peas
6-8 almonds chopped / peanuts
Few black olives
few strings of fresh chopped coriander

Dressing :

2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp mayo
2 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp mustard
salt and pepper to taste
few dashes of hot sauce

Method:

Wash and chopped all vegetables and put it in  a bowl.
Mix the dressing in seperate bowl.
At the time of serving mix the dressing with the vegetables nicely . check for the seasoning.

For serving, take one tortilla and take nice big spooonful of mixture in it.
Fold it and enjoy it, no cooking lunch or diner.

  4. I am tempted, firstly the dressing with sour cream and mayo, than the mix of vegetables and finally these wrapped in tortilla. Our weather can get really hot and its like that most of the time. By the time I cook, I will sweating like nobody's business.
