Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

All those cookies I made its for my kids, this is for me. These are my favorite cookies, no matter how stuff i am , if I got this cookies, I have to eat it. So when I was making this, they were like oh mumma is making cookies for her, they were not at all interested what i am making and how it will turn out. When it was baking, cinnamon and cookie smell was tempting them but they were like should we eat it or not? but somehow they were not at all interested in my cookies, good for me and more for me. You can add chocolate chip also in this.

Ingredients :

1/ 2 stick margarine softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 Egg or 1/4 cup applesauce
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1-1/2 cups Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1/3 cup raisins, chopped

Method:

Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
In large bowl, beat margarine and  sugar until creamy.
Add egg or apple sauce and  beat well.
Add  vanilla; beat well.
Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
Add oats and raisins; mix well.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until firm to the touch and light golden brown.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack.
Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
