Yes, one more recipe checked out from my list, saw this and wanted to make this and usually people use dark chocolate to make this but since I am making this keeping Christmas in mind, I used ginger bread chips. As soon as it melted and comes out from microwave, smells amazing, like baking gingerbread cookies or cake. But this is far more easy than rest. BTW you can use dark chocolate too and use your favorite nuts and dry fruits on top of it, since it calls trail mix, it contains dried fruits along with nuts so I took dry cherry, blueberry, sunflower seeds, almonds and cashews. You can pecans, walnuts, dried cranberries. It's very easy and perfect for a holiday gift too. Just boxed it nicely and its perfect gift for the loved ones.
Ingredients :
4 tbsp. Gingerbread chocolate chips
1/4 cup mix of nuts, dried fruits like almonds, cashew, sunflower seeds, dried blueberry, cherry
Method:
In a microwave safe bowl, add your chips and melt it for 30 seconds, it depend upon your microwave how high or low voltage is, so start first with 20 seconds and take it out, mix it, if not melted properly , put it back for few more seconds.
You need totally melted chips.
Take your baking dish, put parchment paper on it.
Drop a spoonful of Melted chocolate in it , try to make it circle, if not its okay too.
Once all the chocolate is spread, kind of size of quarter, start putting nuts on it.
Pressed it little bit so it sticks on it.
Put it in fridge for 10 minutes.
Take it out and enjoy.
Tell me you love this.
I know you are loving it and thinking about to make it too, or just like to grab it from the screen.
Anyway, enjoy it. Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
