My kids love pizza rolls, in summer practically they had it everyday for lunch. So one day in one store flyer, pizza pocket machine came on sale. Went there and brought it along with other not-so-needed-but-on-sale-items. So we have to check that it works nice or we have to return it so Made the pizza dough and put the cheese and sauce inside, stuff it, bake it and perfect snack / diner dish is ready, That's another story that made this at 4 , had it till 6 and ruin the diner but well who cares, you can always eat leftovers next day right?
this is my Product.
Ingredients :
Whole Wheat pizza dough
1/2 jar of Marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Method:
Preheat the oven at 375 F.
Prepare the pan by placing one sheet of dough over the pan. Gently shaping the dough into the pockets.
Put one sheet on baking dish, spoon filling in to each pocket.
Take the remaining dough sheet and lay it over the pan., matching your bottom sheet.
Make sure to seal the edges with the roller or fork.
Remove any excess dough.
Place the prepared pockets into the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
If you don't have pan, make two sheets of dough, same size.Just like ravioli , spread the filling in one side at a same distance and put the other sheet on top. Cut it and bake it.
Take it out and leave it for room temperature , because inside stuffing is very hot.
Enjoy healthy snack any time.
