Remember few days back I made Khoya at home, so I have to use it right. I was thinking what to make out of it and then I think to make kalakand because I tried once and it was not that good so I wanted to try it again and there it is absolutely delicious Kalakand is ready in five minutes.
As you all know Kalakand is very famous Bengali sweet dish. Like any other sweet dish in this particular one you dont need that much sugar and still you can satisfy your cravings.
Ingredients:
2 cup crumbled khoya
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp Ghee
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
5 -6 Almonds chopped for decorations
Method:
Heat the non stick pan. Add Ghee in it.
Add crumbled khoya , milk , sugar in it. Mix everything together.
Add Cardamom powder.Mix it again. Let is simmered for 3-4 minutes.
Grease dish with ghee . Pour kalakand mixture and let it cook completely.
Sprinkled chopped almonds on top.
Cut it in square shaped and serve it.
Enjoy.
