Do you have one minute in your busy morning and you have microwave? Then you are lucky that you are going to have filling breakfast. Really , put your favorite chopped vegetables in microwave safe bowl or mug , salt , pepper, Indian spices egg(s), cheese and one minute in microwave and done. Put it in bread, wrap or have it as it is. one egg for one minute, two eggs for two minutes, if you don't have time to chop the vegetables in the morning, prep it night ahead and put it in fridge, next day assemble everything and done.
Ingredients :
1 Egg
1 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. chopped vegetables I had onion, tomatoes, green chilies,
2 tbsp. cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
As per taste Red chili powder, turmeric powder
Method:
Take your microwave safe bowl, crack the egg in it, beat it with fork.
add your veges and spices and cheese, milk . Mix it very well.
If you are using one egg, then microwave for a minute, if you are using two, then two minutes. Still check , voltage are different so check if its cook thoroughly.
Take it out and enjoy as it is or with your bread, hash browns , toast, wrap. Possibilities are unlimited.
This way your house wont have eggy smell too. I love to make eggs but hate the after smell. This way nothing smells bad and you can enjoy perfect breakfast.
Have a good day.

ReplyDeleteLinsy thank you for sharing this recipe. Its not that I don't know how to make an omelette. I am getting use to the idea of using a microwave oven. I don't have one at home but we have one in our beach studio apartment. A few weeks ago I didn't even think of using the micro to make an omelette, as there was no frying pan in the kitchen. Now the idea will stick in my head after reading your recipe. Will try making an omelette in the micro.
