Before I try my hands on WW Eggless Banana - Nut Bread. We liked it a lot , so this time when I had mushy bananas in the kitchen , I was very eager to make other version of banana bread. I got bread pan this time so I can get nice bread shape and not cake one. Its easy and delicious slice of breakfast with any topping on it, not a butter fan so this does not have butter inside or I top it up too. But you can have it with your choice of jam, butter, nutella or just plain. I personally don't like very sweet bread so I added brown sugar in it but you can add honey too if you like sweet. This does not require any butter also. So lets heat up the oven.

Ingredients :
1 cup quick cooking oats (1 spoon extra to top it up - optional)
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup milk
2 mushy bananas
1/2 cup yogurt
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup brown sugar and /or 1/4 cup honey (depend on your sweet tooth)
1/4 cup brown sugar and /or 1/4 cup honey (depend on your sweet tooth)
2 tbsp. chopped nuts ( I had cashews)
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Method:
Grease the bread pan and heat up the oven at 400 F.
First mix wet ingredients , in a blender add banana, oil, yogurt , milk and mix it. If you are using honey add it in this mix.
In other bowl, add WW flour, oats, baking powder and soda, cinnamon powder, salt and brown sugar. Mix it little and add wet ingredients in it.
In other bowl, add WW flour, oats, baking powder and soda, cinnamon powder, salt and brown sugar. Mix it little and add wet ingredients in it.
Now pour the batter in greased pan and sprinkle some oats and brown sugar mix and bake it for 30-40 minutes or its cooked from inside out.
Check if its done by inserting toothpick or knife in it.
When its done, take it out and let it cook for 15 minutes and then run a knife around the ages so its easily come out.
Got the little inspiration from hereEnjoy with cup of tea, coffee or as it is. You can warm the slice and have it with vanilla ice cream too.
Add less or more sweetness as per your liking. Just add oats as it is no cooking or soaking required. Yogurt should be thick ,don't take its water.
