Paraths from Left over Rice

In my house I don't like stuff my fridge with leftover food containers. I try to use it all one way or other. If I have leftover subji  or dal I make paraths out of it. Add those leftovers in Whole Wheat flour and Bajri flour, add more salt and other seasoning and make paraths out of it. My kids loves those crunchy parathas. Now they demand for that and for my picky eaters I make those and solve my problem to use up left overs and feed them vegetables and lentils too. I had rice leftover and one day I made it from that , my son asked for those parathas whole week so I have to make it again and thought why not to share it with you all too?

Looks like May is very Lucky month for me. I won another giveaway from Apu from Annarasa http://annarasaessenceoffood.blogspot.com/2013/05/winners-street-food-dhaba-food-and.html.
My Soy Munchurian won egift voucher from Cuponation. Thank you so much for that and Thank you all for all lovely comments.

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked rice ( mine was jeera rice)
1 cup WW flour
1/2 cup Bajri flour
salt to taste
2 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin - coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
water to make dough

Method:

Mix everything and make dough. You don't need more water to make it. So don't pour water at once, go little by little.
Make balls out of it and make paraths the way we all make it.
Take dry flour if you think its not easy to make paraths.
Add one ball and make it circle. Put it on tawa and cook for one side, then flip it and let it cook for some time and add tsp of oil and flip it.
Press it with spatula to make it crisp and turn it over and make nice crunch on that side too.

My son prefer with ketchup , my daughter with peanut butter.
You can have it with your choice of curd or pickle.
